1. Door Measurements & InstallationEnsure a perfect fit by measuring your door prior to purchase. This smart lock requires a door thickness of 1-5/16" to 2" (33–52mm), a standard bore hole diameter of 2-1/8" (5.4cm), and a backset of either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (6cm or 7cm). Installation is hassle-free with no additional drilling required, though buyers should ensure there is no interference from existing screen or storm doors.

2. Strict Compatibility RequirementsThis smart lock is designed exclusively for standard single-latch interior doors. It is not compatible with complex locking mechanisms or heavy-duty setups. Do not purchase if your door features a narrow frame (under 95mm wide), a mortise lock body, multi-point locks, tandem latches, or if it is an armored/anti-theft door.

3. Initial Setup & Remote AccessTo get started, all unlocking methods—including fingerprint, key card, and password—must be configured via the mobile app before first use. While local app control is supported out of the box, please note that remote access and off-site app features require a Wi-Fi Gateway. The gateway is sold separately and is not included in the standard package.
